Albany Toastmasters Club was established in 1992. Through the years the club has helped countless members achieve their goals to become better communicators, become more confident and become better leaders.

We are a very positive, somewhat informal club. Meetings are fun-filled, with lots of humor interjected throughout the evening.

However, this doesn't mean that we don't take what we do seriously. Every meeting is planned very carefully, to ensure that everyone gets a chance to speak, and to ensure that the meetings don't run over time. The meetings always run very professionally, with a healthy respect for everyone's time.

We welcome guests at our club, and love to involve them in our evening if they are interested. However, we respect that every guest is there for their own reason, and will never pressure anyone into participating if they don't feel comfortable!

The mission of the club is to provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

At Albany Toastmasters, we work as a team to grow the confidence levels of all our Members.
